- Data from API calls is stored for up to 2 weeks, with transaction identifiers (such as order IDs) retained for up to 3 months for long-term logging.

- Synks uses personal data provided via API integrations to perform the services and ensure proper mapping between systems.
- Data shared with third-party platforms is solely for integration purposes, though we may use aggregated data (e.g., order volume per country) for internal analytics.
3. Data Security
- Sensitive information such as API keys is encrypted and redacted to ensure data security.
- Data is stored in secure environments, and we take appropriate measures to protect against unauthorized access.

- Integration data is kept for up to 2 weeks for troubleshooting purposes. After that period, data is deleted, with transaction identifiers retained for 3 months.
- If a tech partner deletes a merchant, all associated data is permanently deleted after 3 months.
- Synks operates its infrastructure within the European Economic Area (EEA). Personal data is stored and processed exclusively within this region. We ensure that data is handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
7. Changes to Privacy Policy
